Water in 300Tdi aircon unit.
Hi Learned fellows.
i have the aussie fitted AC in a 1996 defender 130 300TDi and it works a treat for about half an hour then you hear water sloshing around and being hit by the moving fan.
I pulled the outer guard off and pulled the hose on the bottom. it has a "Y"piece and poked up the tube and sucked but no blockage or water was found.!
Anyone know what to do next?
Anyone know how to take it appart while it is in the car? i do not want to have to regass it!
Was thinking may need to make some inspection holes. anyone got a pic of one in pieces or without the cover?
Also noe of the vents is broken. Can these be replaced ?
Thanks
james

From experience use a piece of wipper sniper cord or similar on the drain pipes. Wasps tend to crawl right inside. I have found this problem before. Perhaps even compressed air .
