Go to your local tool store and buy an Allen Head socket of the correct size, 1/2" drive, use a socket extension bar and a breaker bar and if the allen head on the bolt isn't rounded off you should have no problems, BTW buy a Quality Allen Socket, Sidchrome or Snap-On, Regards Frank.
The best solution I have found is quality socket , appropriate extension, rattle gun.
It will be off in a jiff.

hi scruffy - apologies, i misread your situation. thought you were away from home and got towed to a small town nearby wherever you broke down hence doing a tow start etc. oh well, that's my imagination at work. still, hope you get it sorted. definitely right tool for the job is way to go as last two posts suggest, esp if can get to local quality tool shop.
Next time do not use Araldite on your threads because you have run out of Lock-tight.
Seriously do note that the impact beads can be used on a half drive breaker bar/ratchet with a extension. If you have room you can put a piece of pipe over the breaker bar for more leverage. But be sure the Allen head socket is square on. And surely some one has OXY as suggested.

OK so now I suggest that you buy a $30 die grinder similar to a Dremel tool at Bunnings then buy a shaft and GENUINE Dremel reinforced cut off discs available at Bunnings. They are about 1inch in diameter and will cut through very quickly.
These will be the best and quickest way to cut the bolt heads off at the base.
To be really flash get a genuine Dremel and flexible shaft to make it much easier.

i would persist with a breaker bar and long length of pipe for extra leverage, using that technique i have undone bolts that rattle guns couldnt
Hooray Hooray Hooray Tried everything....no go. Took exhaust manifold off and used a grinder. Off they came. Many thanks to a mate, Brent , who came over and gave assistance. Also to Ivan, who I could not get back in touch with, for his offer to help. Those pesky bolts are now replaced with NORMAL bolts so next time the job should be easier. Some low-life took the car keys and my wallett out of the car at 8.40 am this morning also while I ducked inside to take a .... Oh well, Im not as bad off as a lot of others so I cant complain. Thanks to everyonefor their suggestions with this problem. Bob
