I have just replaced the timing belt in the defender 130 300tdi, before I took off the belt I used a pin in the fuel pump, which I thought was pretty vague, replaced the belt, it wouldn,t start so went back a realigned everything and realised the pin wasn,t in the right spot so I,m assuming he pump was a couple of teeth out to start with, which explains years ago the dyno guy said he adjusted the timing as it was out,
any way I've now got it all set properly but have lost a bit of power and now think I need to set the pump timing back,
My question is' is this something that can be done at home or do you need a dyno or pump mechanic.
