it isnt as much as you think, ease to figure out with a tape measure and some chalk on the driveway ;)

it would do nothing for castor correction, as this has been effected by the arc that the RA has swung down in and inturn rotated the axle housing... 3degree isnt much and doesnt take much to change. All you would get from moving the RA forward is to re-center the axle housing/wheel/tyre in the wheel arch/body work.

the other thing that has happend in the "lift is the panhard has swung in its arc.....now the axle is not located centrally with the chassis rails as stock

I agree that bending the front RA is not desirable and castor correction bushes tend to bind up quicker than OEM rubber so I would have thought this defeat one of the main purposes of a spring lift.

The vehicle in good condition may feel ok with a 2 or 3'' lift, but castor will be borderline.If you need to suddenly brake whilst making a turn at speed, the flexibility of the radius arm bushings will allow the axle to go to negative castor oversteer which can be a bit spooky.
Agree about the eccentric bushes binding, but never had any success with
Poly bushes in any location.ARB/ OME must have supplied the Chinese with worn out bushings as samples cos they are as sloppy as a very sloppy thing.

absolutely agree with your points on castor...and if one can afford the slotted swivels by all means its the better way to go than not at all. My rig is a DD and tows 1.8t about hwy/city/suburb driving....its ok but I would get it done if time and money allowed

Rick was the one that put me onto the Fulcrum "super pro" bushes. This is the first time I have had them fitted and so far so good. Not sloppy at all. I also know a guy that fitted them to his 1500mm long RA's at axle end to help with flogging out as he runs 5 inch drop portals ;) nearly 2 years of farm and road use and all is well.
