It may be a long shot, but see if Kerr engineering in Welshpool is still about. Many years ago they were doing all sorts of jobs for Rovertech, and some for me I even sent a LT95 centre diff to them from here to get them to repair/ modify the housing. VERY good work they did, too.

Justin, Are you using the LandRover kit supplied to the Military? The Ritter Automotive type of design used a bigger diameter shaft that shouldn't present any bending issues. The bent shafts I mentioned were from the heavier Perentie 6x6s, which no doubt would have been a factor in why they bent, but all the same the reduced diameter didn't fill me with confidence.
I was going to but forgot to mention that the Agrover wasn't a great success because it did suffer chain stretch after a while, but probably a duplex version of their chain may have been the ticket.
Wagoo.
Hi Wagoo, yes I am using a 6x6 transmission actually, with a .996:1 conversion (as they ran 1.113:1 High range TR), and the rear output drive unit is now somewhere north of here...
I didn't know that they had a deflection problem until you mentioned it, but guessed it would be the 5.5T 6X6 that would suffer with the type of drivers they get...
I reckon I'd have trouble getting it to have a problem with my little vehicle
