I have a V8 98 Disco. I get about 20lt/100 km for open road and around town. It often feels like driving a car with the choke out - it tends to run on a bit. Do these things have an adjustable choke? I live on a flat street at the top of a hill and if I take my foot of the gas after I crest the hill it will keep driving itself up the street to my driveway?
I have always felt it was running a little rich. Could the temp sensor also cause something like this? I mean if it was faulty could it be sending the ECU a single indicating that the motor is always cold and henceforth it keeps pumping in more gas than it needs.
