Cheers. I can just run a second mechanical boost gauge, they're not expensive.

the gauge sounds like the ideal fit, so what are they worth considering they replace that many gauges?

I have an EMS2, good unit.

    Things to remember....

    * The screen can be hard to read if it is glarey
    * Sometimes you want two readings at the same time (eg boost & EGT) and you can only display one at a time on the EMS and need to toggle the display back and forwards

Mine is about 3 years old. Maybe they've changed since then ?

The 'Entertainer' on this forum is who I bought mine from. I can't remember the price.

Personally I've never had a problem reading the screen under any conditions, but yes isuzu 110 is right you can only view one sensor display at a time (mines only a few months old).

The entertainer jogs my memory - that was him, Jan, who I got mine off. Pass him a message or look on NATA enterprise web site for the cost - not cheap but then again neither is a knackered engine. For what it's worth the cost is comparable to that of a Nanocom Evo. but then again they really aren't comparable pieces of kit.

chrisandebreg, there are a few great threads on here detailing fitting one - look 'em up because it's not exactly a straight swap out and requires a little bit of handy work both with the facia and the wiring to make a really good job of it. I run a tacho too so moved the fuel gauge off the instrument facia - got that idea off one of the threads here and very glad I did it.

Worth the time and money - I reckon so. But do your homework before getting in to it because placing the EGT sensor (the main reason I wanted one) requires some forethought if you want to do it properly.

    The response from MadMan:

We recommend the ems1 for a disco mounted infront of the low range lever
against the gear selection picture. If it is a td5 you need the
    'emskitlrtd5t' kit
which will give you coolant temp, level, oil temp of transfer or auto
box, oil pressure, egt, voltage, engine hours. The inclinometer is not
currently available. You can have only one pressure input. Suggest you
    get a separate boost guage.

You can order from the australian dealer - nata. See the dealers
    section. Regards, Brian

    Quoted from Nata Enterprises:

    EMS1 - $332.00; or
    EMS2 - $277.00 ($55.00 less).
    TD5 additional sensor kit - $280.00.

I think the price is fairly reasonable. An Autometer Voltmeter is $100.00 in there base range.

    I have an EMS1

Works well, only one pressure input though, I don't bother with oil pressure, I just use a normal pressure which which alarms via the Madman anyhow, oi'l pressure is generally something you have or you dont and you'll see a light/hear an alarm, far quicker than seeing a pressure gauge, boost pressure is more useful as a tuning tool
