    Depends what you want to use it for really. If you want to go touring/towing, the Td5 is definitely the way to go. If you just want to go tooling around on tracks not far from home, get a V8 on gas.

    If it's to be a daily driver, then go the Td5 as you will be a very poor man keeping up with 20(+?)ltr/100km around town at $1.50/ltr or so we can expect over the coming 12 months and beyond

    Thats my opinion anyway

    Like the wise man said - depends on what you want to do with it or want from it.... For a smile on your face get a V8 with LPG injected

    a standard TD5 isnt in the same ball park as a V8.

    The ONLY reason to buy a rattler is fuel economy.

    The V8 does everything else better.

    Yes but ecu map and few little things from Tombie or Kelvin (discothrasher)can turn a td5 into rocket for well under a $1000.
