SubscriberJust spoke to Warren from MR Automotive, they have purchased the rights, and are manufacturing maxi diff locks and axles, don't think they are fully set up yet, but they have 40 maxi lockers coming from overseas, in Melbourne at the moment, available soon. SubscriberI bought a set of Front MD lockers from MR a while back ,I posted it on here somewhere , brand new with axles . they were an order sold for overseas market.

The ARB/Jacmac/Ashcroft locker design is actually inherently slightly stronger (all else being equal) to the MD/MR locker. In the MD locker all torque is transmitted through the axle which is locked to the case. Whereas in the others, one of the side gears is locked to the case, so the torque is transmitted through a larger diameter.Probably because they are equally as strong, cheaper, easier to fit, and you can get spares if needed
- this may be the reason Mal used larger diameter splines for the locking dog to axle spline...?
