Yesterday I did my first ever service on the Phantom :MileStone:
Seriously, what ****ing bright spark put the primary oil filter where it is on the Td5 :mad:
Running very smoothly now, so I'm pleased.
Just needs a nice clean on the inside and it's all good :)

With the manifold removed, other jobs became obvious...engine mount,couple of hoses looking tired....may as well fit new FPR[Murphy's Law]Put anti seize on the starter motor nuts as a precaution,whilst I can get to them easily.Oh hell,change all the rad hoses and both engine mounts....should there not be some O rings for the FPR...I have the gasket.Ffff!

The original tray was rotten, so the deck is being replaced with new grey ironbark. So far, we have only removed the rotten timber. New timber should be going on in a couple of weeks.
