Hi Michelle,
I did it with the Nanocom. Had to learn to ignore the difference in the height readings, and just go with what works.
Like you, I have very limited space to get thru the roller door into the garage.

Thanks for your thoughts guys
I still think the LR jack is inadequate and will look at replacing it with a bottle jack with more lift ....or bite the bullet and get a highlift jack and research the options of mounting it across rear bumper.
Cheers Paul
Did a service on solutionxs $4000 Td5.
You read correctly :D
Protip: Make sure the O ring from the old fuel filter is off, otherwise the disco looks rather like a dog lifting its leg, but with diesel :p
Boring but for me something new - setting up a diff lock on my puma so needed to put in an ARB compressor. Now to hook up the diff and do the wiring ... which is the best way to get the loom from the compressor (under passenger front seat) to the instrument dash? I'm thinking under the body from battery space floor->up engine bay->into back of dash?

On the weekend replaced all the wheel bearings and while i was in there i did a retrograde from the stupid Td5 model hub nut with crush tube spacer to the original style two nuts and lock tab washer.... much better IMHO, and adjustable.
I also rebuilt the swivels, new bearings, top pins and seals, set the preload and put in new panhard bushes (poly)... must say, she tracks a lot better now!
Cleaned up my newly purchased 1.4 defender transfer case, new input seal + pinion seals, installed my recently cross drilled input shaft and fitted it to the disco. :D
Tomorrow its prop shafts, linkages then test drive!
It will be nice to be back to factory ratios :) (or there abouts)
ps. word of advice, pay someone else to cross drill your input shaft! ...that's 3 hours I wouldn't want to experience again!

Jarrod. Was this to off set larger tyres?
Hi Dave, yep, I have 33's and although I don't mind the lower rpm high way speed I have bought a camp trailer to suit my expanding family and the EGTs suffer a bit more than im happy with up the hills.
(bought the 1.4 suffix-E lt230 for $150, cheaper than 4.11s ...and I dont really want anyone touching my maxidrive anyway so win,win :) )
also I now have a good spare transfer case in-case mine lets go out on the track. ;)
Replaced seal in servo of 3 bolt RRover PAS box (leaking a reservior per week) and replaced reservior hoses and reservior. No more leaky PAS. Went for a run to Insulator Creek:D.
