Thread: What did you do on your Landy today?

Put it to sleep in the garage to start pulling out gearbox.

The left CV on my D2 was making clicking noises when on full lock after last weekend, the TeamW4 Challenge.

So this weekend it was time to pull the axle out and see what was going on... I knew something was up when a ball dropped out when I slid the rubber boot back.

The cage was no longer intact, as was the centre. How it was actually driving I don't know.

Anyway, new second hand CV is back in and all is good again.

Replaced the smashed door glass, lucky I had a spare lse in the yard☺. uploadfromtaptalk1411891777032.jpg dummied up the console, need to work on the transfer case linkages, feels like a stick in a bucket of muduploadfromtaptalk1411891877314.jpgfinished all the wiring, rear doors assembled, hirn now working, boost gauge mounted etc....
Now just need to sort a few leaks, fix the handbrake, adjust the tc and gearbox linkages. Fit a screen, find some stock tyres and I'm off to the engineers😊

Finally got around to replacing the tensioner pulley. got sick of that noisy bearing.

Was bored last night so made these up for
my firewall swap

On the Series 3.
Pulled the radiator out and got a small leak on the inlet bung repaired and a pressure test, then refitted it.
While the system was drained changed the thermostat for the summer (Hi-flow 160C).
Fitted four new shockies!
