Not today but Sunday.....

Finally got around to fitting another transmission into the old girl and get it back on the road, bit by bit I'll get there
Wow, that's a bummer all round. Makes my weekend seem very quiet by comparison. Hope the insurer comes to the party OK.
In the last week:
- Fitted 2 new batteries, one cranking, one deep cycle for the fridge.
- Added an Anderson plug for charging the deep cycle from the solar panel
- Replaced the solar panel wiring with 10AWG cable
- Replaced the rubber mounts on the air suspension compressor. It's now quiet. :)
- Added a digital temperature controller to the Engel fridge
- Added 3 cooling fans to the Engel fridge
Wrote a few more things on my wish list for the land rovers.
Hey, just a question if you don't mind. Is it better to use the solar to charge the fridge deep cycle first or to charge the starter first knowing the controller will then connect both batteries and future charge will then go to the second battery? Been thinking about this myself.

I use a Traxide SC40 dual battery controller so if the solar charger is connected to the cranking battery, it gets charged first. It's more important to be able to start the car!
However, I've wired the Anderson plug directly to the AGM so I can charge it from the solar independently and without the voltage drop across the dual battery controller and the cabling from the front (cranking) battery to the AGM in the rear loadspace. I'll probably
That's the way I'll be operating over the next week whilst camping.
