Odd jobs
Noticed that the two hoses from the Power Steering tank were rubbing against each other, so used coolant hose and zip ties, to protect both hoses, making sure I get another 300 000 km out of the Disco.
I also cleaned Manifold Absolute pressure/Inlet air temperature sensor, not sure if it has made a difference, but it was covered in thick black gunk - which means I should do the EGR blanking at some stage, and also remove the manifold to clean it.
Climbed under the steering wheel and used self adhesive sound deadening foam on all the "bare" panelling - and that has reduced the engine noise quite substantially.

recent progress on mine includes rebuilding the r380, rebuilding the lt230 and fitting the underdrive - exhaust and so on all refitted too now. It also started first go, straight away which was impressive as the last time it ran was May

Cleaned up the mess of squeezed out glue, and put the original mirror back...
Rocked the front wheels... silly thing to do, -went and bought a nice big tube spanner to do the wheel bearing adjustment. Bargain, only $17 or so from BritPart
Read the ABS fault codes via the Paper-clip method. (without losing any smoke from the plug.) Both front sensors have moved away from the excitor rings. Dunno why the TC light is lit.

I really need a perentie wiring daigram . have the main part but need sheet2 apparantly, the charging and engine systems and sheet 3, lighting system if anybody can help with them.
actually a complete Perentie manual would be nice......anybody?[wink11]

Installed new rock/tree sliders on the 110. Not happy about having to engineer a method of restrengthening the small panel infront of the rear wheel arch or also having to design a way to reattach the flares front and back. You would think when you buy a well known brand and spend fairly good money, that they would engineer all these litle things into their design, I would. I got them from the UK but they are also sold here.

Topless
Topless Disco at my place!
A man in a van came and removed the top, part of what was, a very hot Disco.
Now a cool sight to behold, exposure of the stripped down body.
I suppose you all now want to see, pictures of the topless disco at my place?
