I washed the underneath in readiness for RWC test tomorrow.
Changed a tail light globe, scrubbed next to nothing off the underside of the engine (not today but not long ago anyway) and got my road worthy certificate. We're booked for aug 22nd for registration (thankfully Idon't have to take her in for inspection as all her numbers matched with their database and the NSW RTA were clever enough to let me keep the plates to avoid the inspection later)
Other than that all I can do is look at her in the garage lol (might put the roof bars on tomorrow). Concrete still clean beneath her (apart from where the aircon must drain to, always seems to drip there, must work out the controls for my heat and cool properly so that doesnt go all the time). Oh and I spend a bit of time wondering what plate I'll end up with .. I saw a ZFFxxx plate today... way I'm going I'll end up with ZGX (how am I sposed to make up a name or code with that lot) lol
Get a custom, at least of standard content that means something. Have you extended the a/c drains yet?
Not yet but I will, guessing if I do a search there'll be a little informative thread about here somewhere to guide me.
Shes got a new tailshaft coupling and the bearing on too (needed the coupling according to the rwc mob so I just bought the full kit).
and I will be getting CM plate, but probably not for a few months. Have to work out what I want, and it will be in either the bright pink or the bright blue beside it on the Vic road CM plate colour pallette (will take me that long to work out a combination I like)
i tried to replace the front pinion seal, could not undo the nut so put the tailshaft back on and gave up until another day!.
had bought a cheapy compressor and impact gun but seems compressor was too cheap so will return it for a bigger one thats less cheap. :)
Installed newfuel pump and sender unit. I can now tell hoe much fuel is in the tank!
Also started cutting out some of the rust in the drivers foot well. Need to take a trip out to the wreckers and get them to cut out a replacement foot well.
rear tailshaft coupling? the one you have the choice ot buy just the rubber part, or just get the whole set as well. They're pretty finicky down here, it didn't need the bearing part but I got the whole kit anyway

I'll find that bellhousing seal thing too before the service. And its pretty much one belt drives the lot under there too isnt it, that serpentine belt?
Yes one belt 7PK2703 should be it, I put the number on the report for you.
Still don't understand the coupling bearing thing (link no work) There's the donut. And There's the diff pinion bearings but thats bot something associated with doing the shaft unless changing from the donut to uni/uni.
Replaced my alternator. Bastard of a job but now it's done:D
