Organized my rear wheel carrier with Rijidij (Murray) down at his place on Saturday morning. Needs some minor modifications to fit the 110DC as the tail gate hinges are in the way of normal mounting points, but it will work well :D

What a top bloke Murray is too,, very knowledgable and easy going with what's needed. :cool: His got himself a great little setup, and some great ideas, especially his rear light pole,, might have to look at getting this too,, don't tell the mrs but :eek:

Agreed - Murray is a great bloke, who is happy to share his knowledge, and he makes some great kit too - I'll be getting one of his light poles too when I'm back on the road. Thought about making one, but there is no way I'd get anywhere near the same result.:D

Cut out my rusty sils yesterday and fabricated some new ones used 100x50 3mm box section and some 10mm thick solid plate. I figured if I was doing to the trouble of replacing the sils I might as well male them integrated rock sliders. No more dented sils for me!

Started welding them in today but ran out of welding wire, so not completely welded in yet. Will have to finish that next weekend :-)

made a highly technical and professional modification to my Supercheap auto canvas seat covers to allow seat belt usage in the rear seats lol..

Fitted new enjectors from france to the Tdi:D

Washed it after Glenreagh, sorted out my UHF mic (replaced under warranty), applied my totally necessary "Zombie outbreak response team" sticker and booked it in for a service :)
Who knows, Landy110 might get to drive it :p

Replaced the tatty vinyl steering wheel with an leather job in fantastic condition scored off US eBay for $120 delivered.
