Thread: What did you do on your Landy today?

I picked up my Fairey overdrive housing from the aluminium welder. It now sports a very nice extended sump with cooling fins. Will post pics and a rundown in the coming months....

Rang the chap about the freight cost, as they are heavy and they need to travel across half the Eastern Seaboard! Thats all sorted now and I chucked a little in for his petrol as well.

Pulled the old front end out of Peter the 6 cylinder, that is going into Paul the flat tray diesel, still have to refit Paul's brakes, as they are the narrow 11" shoes.

Having replaced the near side headlight plug & refitted the remains of the headlight assembly, I tested most of my lights. Blew the off-side headlight bulb! >

Front side lights don't work at all, and the front near side indicator doesn't either.

Neither of the interior lights work.

I haven't got as far as figuring out why on any of the faults.

Check your earthing wire for that side.

Yesterday and today..

All new wheel bearings, brake dics, (gee they weight a lot) good scrap metal prices, brake pads, and the clutch slave cylinder replaced

I think that is all this weekend

Oh on RED 130

all good to go to Sydney
