    solar/Fridge Calculator

Found this in an archive. Its a solar calculator that I'd knocked up for one project or another. (from memory it was for the standalone battery in the trailer if I had to leave it running on just the panel)

yellow values are ones that I have from running my old engle /panels on a logging meter and averaging over a per hour period. change these if you know your gear performs differently.

green values are the ones that you need to input for your application.

the bottom line tells you if you're charging the battery overall or discharging overall.

Although a bit more expensive, I just push a button on my plasmatronics PL20 regulator and it tells me amps in and amps out for the day. It then calculates state of charge of battery in %.

yep, a lot of the new meters will do that for you, the intent of this sheet is to allow you to work out what you need to keep in front of your fridge OR how long you can leave the fridge with a given set of batteries and panels assuming normal sun exposure.
