Talking Some tips for doing this job

Hi, I had to do this fuel hose replacement today in the shed luckily, it failed while on the beach but i patched it up to get me home about 1.5hrs drive. Bought the new hose and decided I didn't want to remove the manifold again, ever, so I made some tools for the job. A spanner to hold the fan hub still, a 36mm open ender, and a mangled, molested 14mm ring spanner.

First remove the plastic fan shroud, and fit the holding spanner.
Then remove the fan, it's a rh thread.
    Remove egr cooler.
Use mangled 14mm spanner to undo pipe very slowly.
Assembly is the reverse of removal

    Much simpler way

This job can be done much more easily. If you can make one of these, it is a 20 minute job, no need to touch the inlet manifold

You just have to remove the black bracket in the way and job done
