Well now you have got me thinking. it was supposed to be. The part number AMR6103 has not changed. What are the noticeable differences?

The harness is basically the same unit, however at the point where it passes thru the engine block [ for want of a better word,] to connect with the ECU harness, the injector harness unmodified has a hollow which, over time, allows oil to collect and travel down the ECU harness to the ECU. The mod consists of filling that hollow with some epoxy like substance [ Paul mentions what he uses earlier on] So, a harness with a hollow is not modified. Some members do their own, and flush the ECU harness before starting up. Hope that was clear, I don't claim to be an expert, Cheers ,Bob
Ah now I am with you.
I have cleaned up the old one and done similar with Loctite RTV Blue Max to get me through, fitted this morning and is running sweet. Also sealed the small clips where the wire is exposed and any other holes. Not much chance of any oil getting in.
I do have another on order and when that arrives am going to seal properly with a product called Three Bond 1207B, widely used in motorbikes and is impervious to oils and heat including synthetics.
Cheers

Just found out that mine has gone again to, I sealed mine with a silastic heat rated copper sealant, obviously hasn't done the job!
Looks like I'll be doing it again with a better sealant.
Has anyone tried the 1207 product mentioned with any sucess???
Nearly over it.......
