    Defender TD5 Cruise Control

    Hi all,

    I realise this has been covered a few times already, however most of the threads are now relatively old and many of the attachments/photos are no longer working.
    I am interested in installing cruise control to my 2003 defender 90 via the ecu, and was looking for some detailed instructions/diagrams for installing it.
    This thread Defender TD5 cruise control looks like it had everything required, but the links dont seem to be working.
    If anyone still has this information or is able to help me it would be greatly appreciated

    try this thread -

    Cruise Control

    has some info that was useful when I did mine.

    this is the wiring diagram....

    Easy job to do your self, just have to splice some wires (a little fiddly but not hard) very cheap, excellent for a defender.

    I appreciate that the diagram is not very helpful / useful at that size. Will try and post a larger one or PM me and I'll send you a word document I have that details more.

    Hi,

    I've got quite a lot of stuff I saved at the time I was considering installing one. Needless to say, I haven't got around to it yet.

    I have all the files still, and they are PDF's and Word files with pics embedded. You are very welcome to copies of them. Just send me a PM, and I'll e-mail them to you.
