Thread: What type of coolant for V8 109?

I'm a fan of the pink Toyota coolant. I havnt checked that it suits the rover yet. They will tell you that the pre mix lasts longer than the concentrate. This is because the can garantee that demin water is used. If you mix with demin water, you get the same life. If you mix with tap water the life is reduced.

Your best off getting the concentrates, rather than green water. Holdens HN2043 is also good, but you will need to check it for suitability with the alloy engine.

Whatever you use, make sure you flush thouroughly before adding new coolant. different coolants can react causing corrosion. Power fluch if you can.

pretty much anything you like.

Tectalloy from super cheap and Kmart is my usual suspect.
