    Puma Power Loss??

    Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me with an issue with my 2011 130 puma.

The issue is that after long road trips of around 300 k's, at speeds of around 100kpm, on slowing down to a stop for roads works etc then taking off again going through the gears the engine appears to have a different and louder note to it and feels quite gutless compared to usual.

Usually the problem corrects itself after a bit of a pitstop to re-fuel etc and on take off the engine is much quieter and has much better acceleration.

I have taken the car back to the LR dealer who plugged it in to the computer, apparently there were no errors at all shown which is unusual in itself. They want me to bring it in next time the problem occures but Im usually miles from aywhere when it happens.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue.
    Cheers
    Paul.

Most likely EGR valve sticking, or could be a faulty water temp or cylinder head temp sensor.

Have a look over in the 90/110/130 section, there are quite a few threads that may help over there.

    Cheers,
