I understand that the smaller the turbo the faster it spools up, this at the expense of top end where it might not be able to provide the amount of air required at higher revs. Given that diesels don't rev much above 4000 RPM at what stage is a turbo for a 2.5 lt too small? I see there are GT1749V, GT2052V, GT2256V and then GT2559V etc. Is there a sweet spot in amopngst these for a 300Tdi?
