Lucas oil stabilizer in BW transfer case?

    Hello,

I've just renewed my diff oils and put a 50% mix of Lucas oil stabilzer and valvoline SAE 90 API GL-5 &GL-6. Now tomorrow I will be doing the BW transfer case. Should I just stick with ATF DX3? or should I put say 25% of the lucas stuff?

This has probably been covered somewhere no doubt but anyways.

    Cheers

    Steve

Supercheap has a special on it at the moment for 15.90

As I was pouring the stuff today in the diff, the late afternoon sun was gleaming through the golden oil. The stuff looks nearly good enough to eat. LOL

do a search on Mobil Agrifluid for the BW T/F case. Terriific stuff. I've used it for the past 40,000km ...the T/F case quietened right down...works very well. Can be difficult to find...might need to get it from a farm produce/supply store which stocks mobil oils etc. Come in a 5 or 6L container. Plenty for a replacement.

I always used 50% Moreys or Lucas oils in the BW transfer case of my Rangie. It had done around 650.000 kms when I sold it and was still working perfectly.

I've just got to work out how to fill the transfer case now. Might go to supercheap and see if they have some sort of inline hand pump.
