Thread: LED flood light

It was either Bee-utey or blknight suggested getting a 27w LED from http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...._4015wt_1068so I did just that, under $50 freight free..."thanks heaps" fitted it to the rear of my disco's roof rack and its UNREAL heaps of light ..I wired it to the rev lights and in the RHS rear light compartment there was a green wire with a red blanking plug in it which is live with the rev light so fitted a 5w globe instead of the STD 21w to help with current draw and ran a separate earth works great .I also put in a bullet joiner in each wire, made a plug in extension lead that can plug from the light wires to the trailer plug that has a permanent feed and earth direct to the Aux battery for camping..one of the best Christmas presents every I've brought for myself :-) ...Gary
