My personal experiences with Coopers, 2 year old tyres already on a Disco I owned were cracked around where the lugs met with the sidewalls, took them to a local dealer and he sent pics to Cooper who said my fault for running too low a pressure.
A mate lost a section of tread in the middle of a Cooper tyre the size of a bread and butter plate and also had the same cracks as mine, Coopers denied liability. My Son's Disco fitted with Coopers A/T handles so badly on wet roads that he won't drive if it's raining.
Last but not least Coopers mileage warranty is void if you buy and/or use their tyres outside of major metropolitan areas, if the manufacturer has no confidence in their off-road tyres why should anyone else, Regards Frank.
