Red face What is this part?

Sorry yet another dumb question. This 'thing' is leaking radiator fluid and needs a new gasket apparently....but don't know what it's called. It's the silver center part with bolts in it...above the pink stain. I hope that makes sense!! Thank you in advance for all your help!!

Water pump. It is sealed with rubber D'rings which are available seperately with part number:

If it is the leak around the hose fitting as per pic, remove the clamp, clean up the fitting inside and replace the clamp with a good quality stainless worm drive clamp. If there are already pin holes through the alloy, you will need a new water pump. Genuine ones are about $140 last time I looked.

Ditto, if your going to take the water pump off, for all that trouble I'd replace it with a new one.

I also changed to green fluid because I can smell it at the slightest hint of a leak, for some reason I am unable to smell the red stuff ???

Thanks all, new water pump has been ordered and should be here by the weekend so I guess I'll be putting it and a fuel pressure reg in Rhi's car when I get home from the springs 4x4 park.
    Thanks,
    Jason.

Got to be very careful if doing this (red to green or vice versa).

Once upon a time green was old style glycol (like the Spanish put in their wine) and was not compatable with the newer synthetic red stuff. Mixing both together could end disasterously for the engine as the mixture jellified and blocked the radiator and cooling system. Similiarly putting red into an older engine designed for green, even if flushed out, could end in disaster as the red stuff could eat away gasket material that wasn't designed to handle the red stuff. A google search on Dexron coolant should get plenty of hits on this issue. Modern head and other gaskets can handle both but this was not always the case.
Used to be real easy to tell the difference between glycol and synth by the colour untill some bright spark decided to make green synth coolant..

While the color doesnt mean a lot you should be using OAT in the TD5.
12 Months ago I spent $7500 on a new head and oil cooler because someone had put normal glycol in mine
The resulting corrosion doesnt show up immediately but the results were catastrophic.

I use red OAT, and that stuff stinks if a spot of it gets hot,
