oxygen sensor
G'Day Has anybody fitted oxygen sensors to the V8 ? if so where did you install them ,manifold or downstream on exhaust pipe,both banks or only one .I see you can buy weld on bungs for the pipe this would make it easy ,also what did you connect up to ,jaycar kit ok? also what is best type one wire ,two wire ,four wire ,thanks for any help...regards

I think my how to on a 14CUX is still somewhere in projects, but that is for fitting active sensors that actually control the ECU.
I can't see the point of a sensor with just a meter( although I have one of those to see if my others were working.) as you cannot do anything much to change a 14CUX unless you fit a piggyback.
To answer your questions, I fitted 1 just in front of the muffler in the single pipe. of my RRC It was a Zirconia fitted to a bung that AFAIR I bought on Ebay. I think I fitted a 3 wire Bosch that I had taken off a BMW.

If I had an aftermarket ECU, I would buy a wide band kit , as they are far more useful than a narrow band for tuning.
