The main issue you will have to address is the low tow ball weight of the D1 - is only 120kg - a bit low for the van.

Hi, just wondering how a Disco 1 auto would handle a 24ft Jayco van. all up weight of 2.5=2.7 ton?
I know it would pull it, but would the handling of a van that long be a issue with the disco?
Cheers Sumo.

I tow 2.5 fully loaded with a hd hayman Reece tow kit. Ball weight is 200kg I think. Slow as all get out, but it will get you there.
Because the Disco has the floaty suspension, a load leveler makes a huge difference to how it feels and reduces the possibility of the sway starting.
