Turnlock fasteners?
TURNLOCK FASTENERS
![]()
I have no idea what the correct name of the below is but I need more to finish off my 101. Anyone able to help? Its some sort of captive nut/thread/thingamabob fixed to the body by 3.2mm countersunk rivets.
This one went through a galv bath with some other items hence the rough edges and the 3.2mm holes filled in (coloured in black with a sharpie so it looks normal).
I have the 3.2mm countersunk rivets I need to fix them to the various body parts but missing about 4-5 of the things so far.

I have bought them from the 101 club when I was a member - were listed near the end of the parts list.

Camlocs Garry? These appear to be the same as what bee utey posted up. I have looked at these before but it seems as though they had more of a socket when I googled them rather than the plate looking item I have. Ill look further on the 101 club forum to see if there are any pics.
AKA Zuss fasteners. Very common on Aircraft cowlings.
Cheers
The parts book calls them camlocs and the part number is 399220 - which didn't come up on any Google searches for me!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
They are indeed in the parts book. I found a decent post that highlights all the camlocs used on a 101 on the club forum:
101 club • Login
They are on page 32-72/32-73 and are item number 11 "Camloc Receptacal", part number as per Davo's post.
All of the camloc parts are available from the 101 club new. I'm thinking of just ordering all required items so I have them for the future rather than search through the various parts bags I have as I haven't seen many camlocs or receptacals through them to date.
Thanks All!
