You will need to modify the inner guard mudflap assembley where it has the bend that goes around the fuel filler pipe. You need to flatten it out or remove it. It hits the point when flexing up into the guard.
And do the BFG's measure smaller (height wise) than they actually are.
IE, 33X10/15 actually measures 32 tall, 31X10.5/15 actually measures 30" and so forth.
because of the offset rims i needed wheel arch flares. i also had to trim a little off the bullbar, but without offset rims i doubt you will need to do that. also what landover has already mentioned, i bent and trimmed the brackets.
cant help you re the tyres measuring undersize or not.
Man arent these hard to get! LRA have stopped making their FG ones, only got the Flatdog ones to choose now, and apparantly they dont seal the rear doors where they require cutting.
I could piece something together from other cars (and glass something up) I guess, but the time factor...
I found a couple of pictures I took of SSmith flattened out inner mud flap guard. I should have asked him to clean it first. I was going to do the same but just left it off. The filler hose was a bit exposed to rocks though. The car got taken off the road before I did it.
dont be scared of the ones that do not seal the door. there are a few good work arounds to sort that problem.
i did something similar to the instructions here: www.slunnie.com :: View topic - Guard cutting for 35's
the flexi flares from the Uk are not hard to get. coffs 4x4 on ebay sell em. or you can go direct to the UK.
