    Bushes for Bilstein 7100s

    Hi guys,

My 7100s has Heim joints, and im looking to replace then with bushes. IIRC there are a few others that have done this - what bush should I use? Superpro cottonreel? or SPF0420? (seems a little wide..).

    thanks!

    Hi Flagg
I got my 7100 from GBR and they supplied red one piece poly bushes, PIA to press into the eyes but seem to last well. I've seen two piece ones which should be easier

Bilstein change my shaft bush to the small type. They insisted on rubber, but Poly in my opinion is the go. They cut the rose joint off the body and welded a new bush on, small type. This is a much better setup for the road than the rose joints.

I prefer the idea of rose joints but they are not legal on registered cars are they?

Not sure about the legalities but the rose/heim joints get loose after awhile and need replacing, they do look great though
