    Disco woes

I have a 97 300tdi and after getting my Axle's replaced after snapping one the disco's formed a really annoying problem...

When driving in any gear the hazzard lights come on above 2500 rpm.
this is really starting to pee me off and everyone else on the road im guessing...

Is there any way to stop this from happening with out throwing big lumps of money at it as latley thats all i seem to be doing??

Any help would be greatly appricated.

    Cheers
    Justin

Sounds like your inertia switch is activating early. It could be cactus or just come adrift.

On the V8 it is on the firewall behind the washer bottle so might the same for a Tdi.

Unsure if this is related or not, but one weekend out wheeling, the chassis came down REALLY hard on a big solid rock, my hand slipped off the wheel and hit the indicator switch. quite possibly only coincidence but at the same time the hazards all came on as well, I assumed it was cos I hit the indicator sw, but after flickingevery switch on the dash I couldnt get them to stop.

I had to pull the (green I think) plug out of the OEM alarm/imobiliser box under the dash on the LHS and the plug it back in, after that, all back to normal.
