    Advice needed!

    Not wanting to seem cheap but...
    I need to install a 12v outlet for our fridge in the back of the Defender and was wondering if using extension lead was adequate? Being a chippy I have loads of old leads floating around so it seems like a good idea.
    Any thoughts appreciated.
