Yeah, it translates better as "safe journey", but it's not really an expression that's in common use in Irish.

Mike it has been a great to meet you and Erica, the family and I wish you safe and trouble free travels. Despite the circumstances you have managed to keep smiling(even with mine and families taunts). Leaving Alice without even being robbed, stabbed or conned  The town is slipping! I may have to talk to the Town Council.
I hope the weather is kinder by the time you get to Melbourne.
You haven't worn out your welcome and do drop in if you ever pass through again.
I'll see if I can maintain the little patch on the front verge for you:D
Maybe next time we could go somewhere interesting.
Again all the best
Dave my thanks to you also for your efforts.
I still have some (different)discussions pending with Aust. Post:twisted:
Cheers
I better go clean the shed now:D
just got a message from Mike, made it 12k out of Alice and engine died, thats all i know at the moment:(. Poor bugger
Ok bad news.
Engine knocking then stopped, barely 12km from Alice.
I am at work till 6pm so can't even give him a tow back into town.:(
Time to revive the request for transport options again....i.e if anyone has or knows of a truck / tow to Adelaide then Melbourne.......?
Cheers
