    D1 heater bypass help

    Hi guys been a long time since my last visit
    But i am after some help from the gurus

    My heater core as has blown large amount of water on driver's side floor
    water empties almost as quick as i can fill it

    I am wondering what is the quickest easiest way to bypass the heater
    All together biggest issue i have is untill i get it sorted i have no transport
    Any suggestions and help it greatly appreciated

    Cut or undo the heater hoses at the firewall and join the two with a suitable piece of tubing. A piece out of an old chair leg will do if you have nothing else. You should replace the heater hoses when you replace a core anyway.

    If you can get to a parts store you could purchase a heater hose with a suitable u-turn and fit it directly to the engine's connections. Keep the coolant flowing through the loop.
