Thread: engine swapping with different gearboxes

hi all hoping to get someone on here this close to Christmass

im currently pulling a 3.5 v8 out of a 1974 2 door (lt95 10 spline box) and was hoping to put in a 3.9 i have (it has the 23 spline 5 speed in it)

can i just change all the clutch and flywheel over or will it not fit?

have to get it working by the 7/1/13 or im stuck for getting to work in the new year.

pleas help and thanks in advance!

The 3.9 and the 3.5 blocks are essentially the same in that department, swap over the clutch, flywheel etc and all will be fine.
Fit a new spigot bush, too.
