Col,
VDO is a good brand, I would go for the 80 psi gauge max pressure on the relief valve is 58 psi
Hi,
I am wanting to fit an electrical Oil Pressure Gauge to my 2006 TD5 Defender.
What sort of pressure would I need to fit?
Some gauges advertised go up to 80psi, some 100psi and some are 150psi.
I have looked at SAAS, Speco and VDO Oil Pressure gauges, I am probably leaning more to the VDO gauge at the moment as I personally think they are pretty good when it comes to the quality of them.
Any advice or opinions much appreciated.
Cheers, Col.![]()

i have found a bloke on ebay that sells good gauges for not a great deal of money. he is called "veethree11" i have a volt meter form him and it is great and far better than the VDO i had
And for the sender use one of these from eBay. I've got one on my Madman EMS. Search for oil pressure sender.

I would expect the sender to be included with the gauge.
But where have people been fitting oilpresssure senders to td5 motors.
