would a heat lamp work just aswell armyuggles is under a carport? and how many times could i heat it up and hit with freezeandrelease before giving up mate?
you could but if youve found a broken seat why dont you just carry the head out into the yard to sit it in the sun?
you are very correct there :):):):) not going to be a easy task but has to be done
OK guys i didn't sleep a wink last night thinking about the valve guides and it hit me im going to try and make a prototype tool Ive tried making 1 today it didn't work out right but i found out were i was going wrong my first prototype it would work if the lifters were not in but now im drawing 1 up that you can use with the lifters in ill try and make the 2nd attempt tomorrow and maybe i will sleep tonight im not sure yet lol but if it works would you like to see it? i might even video it and all the stuff i used if you like to make 1 for yourself??
and theres a brain fart for the week.... (I blame the milis course's Ive just finished)
I use a 750W worklight about a foot away for that kind of job.....
give it 2 or 3 goes and if it doesnt look like its going to shift forget it, its time for violence.
if the seat is already broken try using the edge of a fine point chisel to get it moving then just abuse it to pieces. or you can try wedging it up with feeler gauges as it turns.
well mate if my prototype works all you will need is a socket or a ring spanner :) would that sound better and faster??
