As your planning ahead, you can save a fair amount of $$$ by ordering from the UK.
Just need to make sure the quality of stuff.

Ive just bought a D2 and for parts I ended up using the U.K.

From what I discovered is that shipped from the U.K. they can arrive pretty quick for a significant amount less than from Australia.

I placed the order on Thursday night (Aus time) and I had them on the front step of home on the Monday lunch time.

I have used two different providers and the one I liked was British Parts (Jaguar Parts | Land Rover & Range Rover Parts | British Parts UK) which were great. After you place your order they advise you that they will get back to you with the cost of the exact shipping before they debit the card. That way if you think the shipping is too expensive you can just tell them not to proceed.

For bushes, Australian made Superpro from the UK. paddock spares. 3 days to ship at 1/2 what any Aust supplier would do for me to Alice Springs.

i have ordered from Paddocks and LR Direct in the past, paddocks have a decent website, but if you know(or can find out) part numbers, LR Direct are way better, faster service, they have a postage calculator on their website when you checkout, and they don't overcharge on postage like some others can

also on LR Direct you can choose from a number of manufacturers for most parts, you can choose genuine, OEM or pattern depending on your preference

I get most my bits for the D1 from there and the prices are not bad for local. They also generally have different grades of the same part so you can choose OEM or third party.
The attached was the last price list I got in 2010.
