other than saving you having to grind out the top of rear mount (to stop binding on droop) I cant see any advantage over the regular cranked arms.
A few days ago I installed a set of the APT Fabrications trailing arms. They seem nicely made, were less money delivered than Terrafirma and made in Australia, so ticks the good boxes. They certainly take the pressure off the front bushings. I installed them with some oldish, but in good cond, poly bushes I had on the shelf for a while - Superpro would have been nice but but these ones work OK especially given the nice new angle.
Have attached a few photos of the old trailing arms both on the car and side by side with the new part, the original one do look spindly in comparison. (The APT also looks longer in the photo but is exactly the same as the original, just doesn't have the big nut on the front to hold the bush in place yet - easier to do that up in place). Also a photo of the APT arm installed.
