Glow plugs for Freelander 2004 TD4

    Hi All!

I'm looking for glow plugs for 2004 Freelander TD4
    Does anyone know parts number?
I contacted Solitaire, but they don't have stock available.
It will takes 4 weeks to ship from UK
I knew that the 2004 TD4 eugine built by BMW TD4.
Could I use BMW parts instead of Land Rover parts?
If so, what is the number of BMW parts?

    Thanks
    - Mino

The part number for these is NCC100120L.

You could ship yourself out of the UK. It usually takes approx a week from UK from Paddocks,Famous four etc. I don't know who sells aftermarket parts in SA but could tell you some in NSW if you want to go that way.

Have you had them tested or is it just hard to start when cold or when Freezing?
Is your TD4 auto or manual?
The TD4 relies heavily on the fuel burning heater in below zero conditions even with good glow plugs. The fuel burning heater was not fitted to the auto TD4. Australia got the air blast auto cooler instead.

Unsure if Australia ever got that version of the M47 in the BMW as there is a few different versions available and some parts are different. unsure of BMW number and if they would be stocked in AUS

    Many thanks

Thank you very much everytime Woko.

There is no problem with starting eugine. It starts eugine at once in any condition. The only problem is white smoke after cold start. Sometimes only little smoke, but sometimes embarrasingly lots of smoke for a minute or two. I already changed crankcase filter, but nothing changed. The car tested with Solitaire Land Rover, and no problem with injectors. Therefore only thing I can worry about is glow plugs. My car is 2004 Freelande facelift TD4 Automatic.

    Thanks for your help!

Get the glow plugs tested, They maybe u/s but it could also be the coolant temp sensor u/s and it is not using the post start heat on the glow plugs.
