Thread: P38 transfer ecu problems

Geday I've got transfer ecu problems .amr2525 has burnt transistors .i replaced them it worked for a test drive . started it the next morning same prob. select neutral tried a few different ecu's around the same year but don't work .how do I get a different ecu to work otherwise ill have to find another amr2525 ecu

Back when the P38 was fairly new, a not unknown warranty issue was a failure of the ECU taking out the shift motor. If your ECU is toast, then it could well have damaged the shift motor which might in turn affect your newly repaired ECU.
