    rear windows D1

    Hi,

    Have undone the glovebox to get to the harness that controls the rear windows.The top harness came out easy,the bottom harness dont want to move.
    Is there a way to get it to come out so that I can resolder the ecu so I got back windows that go up/down please.
    Its on the 95 300tdi.

    It has a clip, which you have to un clip somehow... Just gotta do whatever works.

    But be gentle or you'll destroy the whole board like I did the first time...

    If you search back on the forum or on the net there's a good description of getting it out and the repairs (with pictures).

    Once you do get it out you cut the clip off cause you never know when you're going to have to pull it out again. Pulled mine about a year ago, resoldered the offending joint and it was OK for about 6 months, then had to resort to wiggling the wires to make it work. Latest fix (fingers crossed) was a new board from Pick n Payless which so far is going well
