just because it says so on the box doesn't mean it is.GRRR

I had an email from a good customer today saying the TD5 glow plugs I sent him are longer and different to the ones he took out.
The Part number on the box was correct.
but what was inside was not the correct part
I found out that UK had a batch of Freelander TD4 glowplugs that were mistakenly put into the TD5 glow plug boxes.
This happened a while back, I was unlucky enough to get 2 batches of them.We usually open and check contents before we send out, but fiddly little boxes ?, So it means we need to open every packet before we sell to make sure the part is the right one. This is embarrassing for us and pretty poor that the manufacture didn't have a recall or at least an advise that there were issues.

We got a genuine spin on filter from LR once, LPX100590 Td5 one. It wouldn't start on the thread. I took it out again and examined it closely and then noticed the different part number on the filter itself....incorrectly boxed from LR themselves

Justin we had that as well, customer could not install it, it wouldn't go on, swapped it for a cooper filter and it went on 1st go.
    Go figure.
