There are plenty of people who have bought pumps from truck wreckers who don't have an issue.

For anyone who's interested here's a couple of photos of the NPR pump I bought.

Connections are top and to the left of you're looking at the motor so should be ok.
I don't have hoses to take to pirtek/enzed as examples for the connectors, does anyone know the connector types on both this pump and the 4-bolt box? Are they a standard fitting?
Thanks for all the help so far.
Cheers
Matt
Can anyone recommend where to purchase the parts required for a perentie 110 power steering conversion?
Isuzu/truck wreckers for the power steering pump and Land Rover/aftermarket for the steering box, hoses and reservoir...
Dunno how much your time is worth to you, but there will be a fair bit of stuffing around sourcing various hydraulic fittings, adaptors, hoses, finding a pump with the right outlet configuration etc. I quickly realised this and ended up going with a KLR kit.
The kit is spot on and everything is included. Yes, it would be cheaper if you sourced it all yourself separately, but its not as painless as some imply.
I saved a fair bit by using a good four bolt box I already had, but the rest of the kit was well worth it IMHO, with no hassles and it fitting/working right the first time.
Anyway, no matter how you do it, its right up there as one of the best mods for a Perentie.
The kit is currently $1750 plus freight.
Hi Gents,
I agree a KLR Kit would be the easiest and give more time to play in the dirt.
I plant to install P/S my perentie, but I live in Thailand and keen to explore cheap parts, dunno how i go, do I specifically look for a 4 bolt Adwest Box...then source the Pump.
Cheers for any advice on Part numbers
Cheers
