Years ago I got all new uni joints and a bearing block for a Series PTO winch. They were all standard off-the-shelf stuff for industry use and no doubt still available now. I did have the original shafts but you can buy them, even with a keyway machined right down the length of them so that you just cut to length, fit the key and uni joint yoke, and there you go. Industrial suppliers are the way to go.

Does anyone have the exact length for the steel shafting? Also I know the bearing blocks and UJ's are available off the shelf but was hoping someone may be able to help me with some of the specifics ( sizes etc) to take to the machine shop, excuse my ignorance here - I don't have one on hand that I could copy and I'm not
metal worker!

I think I have most of this concept sorted now thanks to the help from you all. The only problem i see is that I have to adapt to this.

It measured it out as a 3.5" diameter flange with a 2" square bolt pattern. I imagine It would also need to be a 3/4" shaft output size with 3/16" x 3/32" keyway to suit the rest of the system. These don't seem to exist as off the shelf items, however I'm not good on the terminology and may be asking google for the wrong thing. Is there a name for these flange to shaft adaptors? Anyone bought one of these before somewhere and can recommend a supplier?

I've taken some photos & measurements for the bottom mount PTO shaft assembly. PTO drive flange mounting surface to end of first shaft length is approx. 525mm (see below). Shaft only length is 470mm. All other measurements are shaft lengths only.

I suspect this is the only shaft length difference between bottom mount and rear mount PTO shafts. The remainder appear interchangeable judging by the shaft bearing to chassis mount locations. My 120 had a rear mount PTO fitted at some stage before I got it - the shaft support to chassis mounting holes line up perfectly. Here's the remainder of the shaft measurements
2nd UJ Yoke (from the PTO Drive flange end) has a considerably longer shaft coupling than all others

Middle shaft length (minus the UJs) is approx. 635mm

Shafts are 3/4" outer diameter and use 3/16" wide parallel keys to lock into the UJs.

Their Perth branch sorted all my bits. BTW you need a UJ yoke to flange mount to suit the cross Part number from my previous post. I'd be surprised if it wasn't an off the shelf part.
