Oh, and on the smoke ....... 8)

I have had some contact with the two tasbash cars that my fathers rotary group have built and used, and one feature of this was a smoke system 8)

Some of the cars just have a tube to under the car that they stick a smoke flare in and sett off so that the smoke pours out the rear of the car. Others use a slightly more complex method. They use a washer bottle and pump, and run the hose to a small untake on the exhaust that they have had added. Then they put a diesel/oil mix into the washer bottle, so that when the fluid is injected into the hot exhaust, it evaporates and produces lovely white smoke 8)

I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I'll go and check.

Most injector cleaners are of 2 parts. part one is a cleaning agent (diesal)
and the other part is a high octane substance like toluol, methyl benzine.
i use this in my vr commadore every 10k and it works a treat. got the info of the net about 2 years ago. been using it ever since.

When installing a new fuel filter to a diesel i always fill it with ATF to help the prime. Easy on the hands too.
