    Lightbulb Cleaning wheels

Has anyone figured out an easier way to clean the brake dust off the d4 rims, they are painful and the brake dust is back again the next day.

    Any suggestions would be great

    Yep know the feeling

So I fixed it by -

As the Rolling Stones sing / I want it "Painted Black"

I was sick and tired of having to wash them every week, now I can leave them weeks on end and you can't tell they are dirty.
I sprayed them with PlastiDip but you could get them powder coated if you want.

    Dustless pads?
If you can get them, they work a treat, barely any residue from them at all/

Off topic I know Rich, but I like that look. How durable has the PlastiDip coating been?

For road wheels its fine, I wouldn't use it on my off road set as
    they get scrapped often.

I'm saving for a set of black 20" or 18s if I can stretch, I've got the 3.0l so can't get standard 18's.

It's up the beach a fair bit, so I think the plastic dip is out of the question though if I get any more frustrated, I might give it a go.

I've never heard of the tea option though

Akebono ceramic brake pads will cut most of the dust/steel residue out.
